Keeping Texas on top: Transportation, tax relief were key in legislative session
Recently over 700 CEOs ranked Texas as the top state for businesses. In the survey conducted by Chief Executive magazine, respondents were asked to rate each state on taxation and regulation, quality of workforce, and living environment. This is not the first year the CEOs surveyed have listed Texas as the best state to do business, it is the ninth. This is just one example of how our state has developed a reputation as a low-tax and pro-growth place to live and work.
