Walker reward increased to $30K

Published: Thursday, July 13, 2006 9:59 AM CDT
Developers Craig International of McKinney and D.R. Horton of Fort Worth have offered additional money to the reward fund in the hope it will provide new information to police on Sarah Anne Walker's murder.

McKinney Police Capt. Randy Roland said both developers offered an additional $10,000 each to the reward for information that leads to an arrest and grand jury conviction for the person or person responsible for Walker's death.

These donations bumps up the reward to $30,000 after Schepps Dairy of Dallas offered a $10,000 reward on Monday.

Joe Walker, Sarah's father, also said they have set up a memorial fund to raise money for her daughter's two sons. Donations can be made at any Bank of American branch.
