Giuliani will play golf here
The 2008 presidential campaign will come to McKinney on Tuesday, when Republican candidate and former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani will participate in a golf tournament at TPC Craig Ranch, 8000 Collin McKinney Parkway, to benefit Giuliani's Presidential Exploratory Committee.
Giuliani chose this location due to its status as one of the fastest-growing counties in America, according to a statement.
The round of shotgun golf begins at 8:30 a.m., followed by a luncheon at 1:30 p.m. Giuliani will speak after the luncheon.
Space is limited to 150 participants.

SRLA slates
fashion show
The Stonebridge Ranch Ladies Association's annual fund-raiser fashion show will take place at 6 p.m. March 26 at The Ranch Country Club at Stonebridge Ranch.
Proceeds will benefit Hope's Door of Collin County.
A cocktail reception and silent auction will kick off this event. Celebrity models will include Jake Billingsley from “Survivor: Thailand” and Mayor Bill Whitfield and his wife, JoAnn.

meetings set
The McKinney Parks and Recreation Department will have a public input meeting on the design of a neighborhood park located next to Edris Elliot Elementary School in the Brookstone subdivision.
The public input meeting will take place at 7 p.m. Thursday at Ogle Elementary, 4200 Big Fork Trail in McKinney.
