WILKER
Lawrence J. "Jim" Wilker, 46, passed away peacefully and suddenly on March 20, 2008 of brain cancer.
He graduated from Humble High School in 1979, and had been on active duty in the US Army. He attended Sam Houston College, as well as ITT in Dallas, TX. In 1993, he received a Bachelor's degree in Architecture and Computer Assisted Drafting.
He is survived by his son, Thomas Dean Wilker of Kingwood, TX; daughter, Anastasia Marie Wilker of Powell, OH; parents, Dean and Marty Da Silva of Powell, OH; sister, Theresa Batchelor of Coppell, TX; brother, Thomas J. Wilker of Katy, TX; grandmothers, Carolyn Choate of FL and Ana Lopes of Pawtucket, RI; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held March 24, 2008 at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Coppell, TX.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
