McKinney Police Reports

The following reports were filed with the McKinney Police Department between April 4 and April 10.


April 4

  • 9 a.m., 3900 block of S. Lake Forest: Theft; a debit card and some gasoline were stolen.

  • 4 p.m., 1700 block of W. University: Shoplifting; a case of beer was stolen.

  • 6:45 p.m., 4900 block of Eldorado: Drugs/narcotics; some marijuana and crystal meth were confiscated.

  • 7 p.m., 5000 block of McKinney Ranch: Shoplifting; some skin care items, eye drops, lip balm and a scratch repair cleaner were stolen, police also confiscated a fictitious Oklahoma ID card.

    April 5

  • Midnight, 3300 block of Guildford: Criminal mischief; some garage doors and windows were damaged.

  • 12:04 a.m., 400 block of Wolfe: Drugs/narcotics; some marijuana was confiscated.

  • 2 a.m., 2300 block of S. Custer: Driving under the influence.

  • 3:50 a.m., 100 block of N. Central Expressway: Driving under the influence.

  • 8:30 a.m., 300 block of W. University: Theft; a driver side brake light was stolen.

  • 10:45 a.m., 4500 block of W. Medical Center: Vehicle burglary; some cigarettes, CDs, prescription medication sunglasses and a canvass bag were stolen.

  • Noon, 400 block of N. Central Expressway: Theft; $500 in cash was stolen.

    April 6

  • 12:50 a.m., 1800 block of N. Central Expressway: Robbery; a case of beer was stolen.

  • 1:20 a.m., 100 block of E. Standifer: Drugs/narcotics; a white powdered substance was confiscated.

  • 3:32 a.m., 600 block of S. Graves: Vehicle burglary; some tools, gloves, a radar detector and a cloth towel were stolen.

  • 3:43 a.m., 900 block of S. Wilson Creek: Vehicle burglary; a left hand suede glove was stolen.

  • 12:50 p.m., 5000 block of McKinney Ranch: Theft; a box of tampons were stolen.

  • 3 p.m., 2800 block of Cabot: Residential burglary; no additional information was included with this report.

  • 3:05 p.m., 2000 block of Redbud: Shoplifting; a pregnancy test was stolen.

  • 6:55 p.m., 8900 block of Stacy: Theft; some make-up was stolen.

  • 7:13 p.m., 100 block of Virginia: Driving under the influence.

  • 7:29 p.m., 500 block of N. Tennessee: Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

    April 7

  • 3:46 p.m., 1700 block of W. University: Theft; some furniture was stolen.

  • 5:42 p.m., 3000 block of S. Central Expressway: Shoplifting; some beer, fuel injector, a T-shirt and a small beer keg were stolen.

  • 6:52 p.m., 2000 block of Redbud: Theft; a bed skirt, seat cover and sport cap were stolen.

    April 8

  • 12:01 a.m., 2000 block of Winchester: Fraud; a social security number was used.

  • 12:10 a.m., 2100 block of N. Central Expressway: Motor vehicle theft; some dining room furniture and a box trailer were stolen.

    April 9

  • 9 a.m., 600 block of N. Lake Forest: Drugs/narcotics; some hydrocodone was confiscated.

  • 2 p.m., 500 block of Gerrish: Residential burglary; a flat panel TV, a dresser, some DVDs, a DVD player, an end table, a queen size bed and a tool box with some tools in it were stolen.

  • 5:30 p.m., 8000 block of Silverado: Fraud; some personal information was used.

  • 7:05 p.m., 2000 block of Redbud: Shoplifting; some cosmetic items were stolen.

  • 10 p.m. 3400 block of S. Central: Vehicle burglary; a radar detector was stolen.

    April 10

  • 11:30 a.m., 3000 block of S. Central Expressway: Theft; some cash, a purse, some checks, a wallet and a driver’s license were stolen.

  • Noon, 1700 block of N. Central Expressway: Vehicle burglary; a CD changer was stolen.

  • 7 p.m., 2500 block of Cheverny: Vehicle burglary; a garage door opener, GPS unit, heart rate monitor and laptop computer were stolen.

  • 8:20 p.m., 1700 block of Cross Point: Residential burglary; no additional information was included with this report.

  • 10 p.m., 5900 block of Bridge Point: Vehicle burglary; a watch and two rings were stolen.
