Car crash claims life on Hwy. 377

A woman was killed in a head-on collision Wednesday night in the west part of Flower Mound.
Lauren Saludares, an 18-year-old from Keller, died from her injuries in the crash that occurred about 9:45 p.m. Wednesday on the 5200 block of Hwy. 377.
According to police reports, the crash involved Saludares' Ford Mustang, which was traveling southbound, and a Mitsubishi Montero, which was traveling northbound.
The crash occurred just north of FM 1171.
The driver of the Montero, who has been identified as 49-year-old Leona Reger of Argyle, was transported to Harris Methodist Hospital by CareFlight. Griffin said Friday afternoon that the latest report he received is that she is in stable but critical condition.
Griffin said police are working on post-collision investigation and are still gathering information.
