The International Thespian Society (ITS), a division of the Educational Theatre Association (EdTA), is pleased to announce the participation of Flower Mound High Schools’s Thespian Troupe 6154 in the Trick or Treat so Kids Can Eat program. Trick or Treat so Kids Can Eat is a new national community service program for ITS-member schools to collect canned and dry goods for local charities and food banks. Thespian troupes from across the state are participating in the program’s inaugural year.
Flower Mound High School’s ITS troupe is collecting cans the whole month of October. You can donate your cans at Flower Mound High School (3411 Peters Colony, Flower Mound, TX, 75028) to a box in the main office. We will also have members collecting cans before school and during all lunches. All collections will be donated to Christian Community Action food bank to help local people in need. Please help by donating canned food, because hunger is a very scary thing.
Members of FMHS ITS Troupe 6154 will be attending the State ITS convention in Corpus Christi this November. At convention, students participate in educational workshops, demonstrate proficiency through competitions, and audition for college admission and scholarships.
