Council meets Tuesday

The Colony City Council's first meeting of November will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at City Hall, 6800 Main St. This week's agenda includes a presentation from the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department regarding urban wildlife affecting the city.
The council also will conduct a public hearing and consider an ordinance amending regulations and design guidelines for "accessory structures" on municipal properties regardless of the zoning district.
Tuesday's consent agenda includes approval of an ordinance amending the 2009-10 Hotel Occupancy Tax Fund budget to provide funding for qualified events and projects approved by the Cultural Arts Board. Also on the consent agenda is a second reading and approval of an ordinance to provide for establishment of non-conforming structures and improvements on property acquired as a result of of eminent domain.
