The Lewisville Police Department is investigating two recent aggravated robberies that the department believes are related.
“These were very scary incidents. He was very aggressive,” said assistant chief Todd Taylor. “Our big fear is that he may be back.”
The second incident police are investigating took place about 7 a.m. the same day. This incident occurred in a parking lot at 202 East Oak Knoll Circle. A woman was just arriving home when she was confronted by a subject with a knife. He attacked her and stole her wallet. This victim also fought back and was able to take the suspect’s knife away from him, causing him to flee the location.
In both offenses, the suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his late teens driving a dark, possibly gray, vehicle. The vehicle could be a Toyota, and police have a partial license plate number of 675.
“We want to inform the public about these incidents,” Taylor said. “We have our officers out trying to find the suspect. We didn’t discover a connection between the women. My advice is to always be aware of your surroundings.”
Anyone with information related to these offenses is asked to call Sergeant Mike Wragg at 972-219-3624.
