Spring Break safety tips for those on-the-go
McKinney Courier-Gazette
If you are one of the North Texans opting out of a “Stay-cation” in favor of getting out of the Metroplex for Spring Break, Baylor Regional Medical Center at Plano offers these tips, whether you’ll be traveling abroad or enjoying a vacation close to home, to help ensure you stay healthy, safe and have fun during your vacation.
• Use common sense and always travel in groups.
• Carry the address of where you’re staying with you, in case you get lost or separated from your group.
• Help prevent possible illness by drinking plenty of water and choosing bottled water rather than tap water.
• Plan for travel delays. Pack snacks and something to entertain small children.
