Police calls for June 20 - 27 compiled from information provided by the Police Department.
June 20
7:20 a.m. - Theft reported in the 200 block of West Pecan Street. Scrap air conditioning unites were taken. Offense report completed.
9:34 a.m. - Assist fire department with possible gas leak reported in the 700 block of East Pecan Street. Fire department turned gas off.
9:50 a.m. - Traffic hazard, box and papers in roadway reported at Pecan and Ohio. Removed hazard.
10:13 a.m. - Traffic hazard reported in the 4100 block of County Road 83. Trash can blocking roadway. Removed trash can.
12:01 p.m. - Fraud reported in the 100 block of Deloris Court. Contractor received payment and will not return calls. Contractor has recontacted Reporting Person about the work. No offense at this time.
4:06 p.m. - Harassment reported at West Walnut Street. Reporting Person's daughter is receiving calls from an unknown male. No offense at this time. Contact was made with the person who has been calling the cell number.
6:18 p.m. - Disturbance reported in the 300 block of North Ohio Drive. Suspect at location is threatening Reporting Person. CTW issued for this location.
6:51 p.m. - Back-up officer, Nissan northbround on Preston is tailgating and attempting to run people off the road reported at Preston and County Road 83. Did not locate the vehicle.
7:44 p.m. - Citizen contact reported at Stallions and Old Stables. Driver wanted directions to nearest ER so she could take daughter to be checked out. Gave her directions to Frisco.
7:48 p.m. - Citizen contact reported at Stallions and Old Stables. Subject had questions about child's motorcycle. Advised subject about state law regarding use on roadways and sidewalks.
7:55 p.m. - Traffic hazard reported in the 1800 block of South Preston Road. Pallet on improved shoulder of roadway. Pallet removed from roadway.
9:11 p.m. - Threats, Reporting Person advised he is getting death threats against him and his family reported at Appaloosa Lane. Report taken and residence placed on extra patrol.
10:05 p.m. - Suspicious vehicle reported in the 300 block of Mustang Trail. Car parked on left is looking at residence. Has been sitting there for awhile. Advised he is housesitting for friends and just thought it was strange. No one in vehicle. No signs of problems.
10:09 p.m. - Assist fire department, subject passed out in vehicle reported at County road 8 and Farm-to-Market Road 455. Referred to another agency after being unable to locate vehicle at location given. Learned that fire department was out with vehicle on County Road 8 and had transported the subject.
10:13 p.m. - Theft, bicycle stolen from yard reported in the 400 block of Mustang Trail. Reporting Person just wanted to document the theft, does not have any information on the bicycle, it was a very old bicycle.
10:34 p.m. - Assist fire department, second subject passed out in vehicle reported at County Road 8 and Moberly. Fire department was already on scene for prior incident and subject was coherent and signing nontransport papers when officer arrived. Another call holding so officer cleared.
10:34 p.m. - Found license plate laying in roadway reported at County Road 56 and Farm-to-Market Road 428. Follow-up required.
10:38 p.m. - Suspicious person reported in the 1200 block of Stanford Lane. Subjects are at Heritage subdivision. Reporting Person states pool closes at 9 p.m. Unable to locate, no one in area at the time.
10:39 p.m. - Fire department requesting help with traffic control at grass fire reported at Farm-to-Market Road 455 and Dusty Lane. Fire department canceled officer assistance. Response was delayed by 4 high priority calls all holding at same time.
10:56 p.m. - Assist other agency, attempt to locate possible DWI in gray Dodge that evaded from McKinney police reported at Farm-to-Market Roads 455 and 2478. Unable to locate.
June 21
1:18 a.m. - Assist fire department reported in the 200 block of North Texas Drive. 14-year-old male having chest pains, subject was transported by EMS.
2:47 a.m. - Special assignment reported at Farm-to-Market Road 428 and County Road 56. Report of possible tornado coming in from Denton County, watching for signs of tornado. Storm passed with no observed incidents.
7:01 a.m. - Residential alarm reported in the 300 block of Tarpan Trail. False alarm, resident set off alarm by accident.
8:34 a.m. - Follow-up investigation reference assault reported in the 900 block of County Road 94. Criminal citation issued.
9:11 a.m. - Assist other agency, deliver emergency message for Butler County reported in the 300 block of West Ash Street. Message delivered.
10:11 a.m. - Animal complaint, large black dog chased Reporting Person reported in the 200 block of West Main Street. Dog went back into his yard and was secured.
11:15 a.m. - Suspicious circumstances, gate was open and dog got out reported in the 200 block of West Ash Street. Unknown cause for gate being open. Left message for homeowner to call.
12:34 p.m. - Traffic hazard reported at Walnut and Louisiana. Railroad crossing arms down and no train. Disregarded by dispatch.
8:34 p.m. - Assist other agency, back-up on traffic stop and arrest reported at Broadway and Craig. Referred to another agency, provided back-up for arrest.
11:05 p.m. - Special assignment, storm spotter reported at Farm-to-Market Road 428 and County Road 56. No problems observed.
June 22
12:04 a.m. - Suspicious person reported at Pecan and Louisiana. Reporting Person said there are a couple of guys walking in and out of the back of the business. He was concerned because of break-ins in the area. Unable to locate.
12:25 a.m. - Motorist assist, vehicle stuck in mud by silos reported at Ash and railroad tracks. Arms were across tracks during storm and driver attempted to turn around and got stuck, has help on the way.
12:45 a.m. - Open door reported in the 300 block of West Walnut Street. No one inside, door secured.
1:43 a.m. - 911 hang-up, phone problems reported in the 700 block of East Pecan Street. Building secure, no one around, business closed.
10:38 a.m. - Animal complaint, vicious dog at Old Celina Park on Farm-to-Market Road 428. Dog was off leash when officer arrived. Officer has had issues with the dogs on other occasions. Written warning given. Also gave owner paper stating city ordinance in relation to dog off leash.
7:35 p.m. - Loose livestock reported at Louisiana and County Road 994. Calf out, calf jumped back in opening in fence.
8:23 p.m. - Loose livestock, different cow out reported at Louisiana and County Road 994. Follow-up required. Called A/C to see if they would help repair the fence, but they said that if the cows get out again to just call and they will pick them up. Citizen offered assistance by offering to bring a roll of barbed wire to close the gap. We closed it up the best we could.
11:18 p.m. - Suspicious vehicle parked behind closed business reported in the 200 block of West Pecan Street. Businesses secure, no one around.
June 23
12:28 a.m. - Community policing, open garage door reported in the 400 block of Tarpan Trail. Crime card completed.
1:31 a.m. - Suspicious vehicle parked on wrong side of road reported at Preston and Carter Ranch. Driver stated vehicle just stopped running and he was trying to make it into the parking lot. Vehicle was moved and driver was picked up by friend.
3:08 a.m. - Assist other agency reported at Hames and Moberly. Two vehicles at intersection, 1 possible accident. Assist Denton with locating vehicles, unable to locate, checked area.
4:33a.m. - Disturbance reported in the 300 block of South New Mexico Drive. Reporting Person stated that someone broke into her house. Report completed.
10:06 a.m. - Animal complaint, barking dog reported in the 2800 block of Saddlebred Trail. Delayed call for reckless driver call. Spoke with resident. Said she would resolve it.
12:50 p.m. - Disturbance reported in the 300 block of South New Mexico. Offense report, assault by threat.
1:06 p.m. - Welfare check, child walking southbound, appears to be about six years old reported in the 2700 block of South Preston Road. Ten-year-old just exploring, has water bottle.
9:04 p.m. - Assist other agency reported at Dallas Parkway and Frontier. Prosper unit following vehicle northbound that is failing to yield. Disregarded by dispatch.
9:45 p.m. - Assist other agency, domestic disturbance reported on South Coleman Street. Couple arguing over taking each others' meds. Prosper units are busy but will be en route as soon as possible. Prosper on site.
11:33 p.m. - Disturbance, Reporting Person advises her husband will not let her in her house reported on North New Mexico Drive. Verbal only, parties separated for the night.
June 24
12:52 a.m. - Suspicious circumstances reported in the 14000 block of West Farm-to-Market Road 455. Reporting Person believes someone is running around her property trying to scare her off. Unable to locate.
8:27 a.m. - Welfare check reported in the 100 block of South Alabama Drive. Reporting Person advised her son has been missing for 3 days and does not have his medication. Officer located missing subject and determined that he did not have a medical emergency. Subject went home with his mother.
2:12 p.m. - Traffic hazard reported at Louisiana and Pecan. 2 mobile homes on wide load transport stuck under trees. Traffic assist and roadway cleared.
3:23 p.m. - Animal complaint, large dog jumped the fence reported in the 500 block of South Colorado Drive. Owner put dog in the house.
8:46 p.m. - Suspicious circumstances reported at Bounds and Missouri. Small child's bicycle in roadway, no one around. Officer located someone who knew who the bicycle belonged to. Child had left bicycle in the field earlier.
10:37 p.m. - 911 hang-up reported in the 400 block of Andalusian Trail. Open line with silence then hang up. No answer at residence. Located neighbor who advised that resident was not at home.
11:43 p.m. - Noise complaint reported in the 500 block of Connemara Court. Dog barking in area. Unable to locate. Coluld not hear any dogs barking while standing in driveway of residence.
June 25
12:01 a.m. - Animal complaint, snake by the front door reported in the 200 block of North Colorado Drive. Could not find snake.
12:33 a.m. - Noise complaint reported at Kentucky and Walnut. Loud music in area, message left on police department voice mail. Could not locate noise. Unknown how long message was on voice mail before it was found.
1:06 a.m. - Suspicious person reported at Louisiana and Elm. While taking unlicensed driver home, had seen subject cross between buildings, could not stop to check subject at that time. Returned but could not locate subject and did not find anyh damage to buildings.
1:39 a.m. - Welfare check reported in the 200 block of North Texas Drive. Subject passed out in vehicle in driveway, loud music playing. Was able to wake subject up and he went inside to sleep.
3:55 a.m. - Disturbance reported in the 400 block of West Maple Street. Reporting Person said drunk people were causing problems and making noise. He advised to send someone or he would go over there and take care of things himself. Officer warned resident that any further calls would result in citations.
4:29 a.m. - Suspicious circumstances reported in the 300 block of East Main Street. Brake lights on vehicle on and they were on less than an hour earlier. Appears owner had tied brake pedal up with a rope and knot was getting slack in it.
6:17 a.m. - Traffic hazard, tree branch in roadway reported at Oklahoma and Walnut. Removed, roadway clear.
10:11 a.m. - Major accident reported at Farm-to-Market Road 428 and County Road 6. Rollover accident, vehicle in ditch. Referred to another agency. Location in Denton County. Denton County Sheriff's Office and Department of Public Safety responded. Driver not at location.
11:53 a.m. - Animal complaint, two dogs out reported in the 400 block of South Arizona Drive. Gate left open by mistake during lawn mowing. Both dogs back inside, owner notified.
4:55 p.m. - Theft reported in the 100 block of South Illinois Drive. Reporting Person stated someone stole a tire and a few other things off his 4-wheeler. Offense report for theft and extra patrol on residence.
9:28 p.m. - Suspicious vehicle reported at Andalusian and Palomino. Black SUV with covered trailer is there right now. Unknown if anyone is in it. It's been seen in area several times this week. No one around vehilce, trailer full of plaster molds, unknown where owner of vehicle is.
10:14 p.m. - Fireworks complaint reported at Shire and Appaloosa. They are shooting fireworks on Shire Lane. Did not locate anyone with fireworks or hear any in the area.
June 26
2:49 p.m. - Open door on storage barn that is not normally open reported in the 100 block of East Ash Street. No one around. Unknown if doors were left open by mistake or if anything missing at this time.
7:58 a.m. - Criminal mischief reported in the 600 block of West Pecan Street. Car tires were punctured. All four tires were punctured. Offense report completed.
12:01 p.m. - Suspicious circumstances reported in the 100 block of East Ash Street. Large doors on building open and no one around. Called owner and he will have someone come by and check on it.
3:27 p.m. - Suspicious circumstances reported in the 800 block of North Louisiana Drive. Open gate at closed business. Notified owner and owner will secure the gate.
10:13 p.m. - Suspicious vehicle reported in the 800 block of Mellanie Court. Reporting Person said there are some commercial vehicles parked in area that are not supposed to be there. No offense occurred, does not meet ordinance criteria. Could not see tag. Vehicle is parked in driveway.
11:53 p.m. - Back-up officer reported in the 700 block of North Dallas Parkway. Prosper requesting Celina to assist with minor accident in front of Ready Mix. Subject is possibly intoxicated. Task completed.
11:58 p.m. - Suspicious circumstances reported in the 500 block of South Utah Drive. Vehicle leaving from behind elementary school at high speed. Checked vehicle, no offenses. Located, subject stated that he was just playing on the swings.
June 27
1:06 a.m. - Traffic hazard reported at Louisiana and Beech. Limbs in roadway, limbs removed from roadway.
3:56 a.m. - Citizen assist reported at Oklahoma and Pecan. Reporting Person's German shepherd got out. Helped check area for dog, did not locate dog. Will keep watch for it.
2:58 p.m. - Threats reported in the 500 block of East Pecan Street. Report generated.
June 20
1:44 a.m. - Building check, checking church reported in the 800 block of North Preston Road. Spoke to youth director who said they were waiting for buses to take them to Alabama.
9:50 a.m. - Traffic hazard, box and papers in roadway reported at Pecan and Ohio. Removed hazard.
