Lewisville City Councilman dies

Lewisville City Council David Thornhill died Saturday from a heart attack, sources confirm.
Thornhill has served on the council since 2006. He most recently served as Mayor Pro Tem. Thornhill had also served on the planning and zoning commission, the park board and numerous other city boards.
James Kunke, community relations and tourism director, said Thornhill's death was unexpected. Councilman John Gorena sent a mass email stating "I am very saddened this morning to hear that Lewisville Councilman David Thornhill passed away yesterday from a heart attack...I ask that we all pray for his wife and family."
