Forest Park Medical Center announces Southlake hospital

Forest Park Medical Center is pleased to announce the start of construction of their physician-owned hospital in Southlake on the south side of S.H. 114 just east of N. White Chapel Boulevard. The project will include an acute care hospital of approximately 140,000 square feet, a medical office building of approximately 80,000 square feet, and a parking garage. This represents the first phase of development of what will ultimately be a 30 acre medical campus encompassing roughly one million square feet of medical uses.
About Forest Park Medical Center
Completed in March of 2009, Forest Park Medical Center Dallas was the first of these hospitals and is located at 11990 North Central Expressway, Dallas, Texas 75243. Forest Park Medical Center Dallas just celebrated its first expansion at the same location. The three-level hospital will have 12 operating rooms, two procedure rooms, 46 inpatient rooms, VIP suites, ICU beds, and an emergency room, and will employ about 300 people. A variety of diagnostic and treatment services will be provided at the facility to meet patient needs in the region.

The developers of this project are LandPlan Development & Neal Richards Group. Including Southlake, LandPlan Development and Neal Richards Group have developed five premium physician-owned hospital buildings and six class-A medical office buildings in the DFW area, totaling 1.3 million square feet of medical development.
"The hospital will be the third physician-owned Forest Park Medical Center facility built in the Metroplex," Beauchamp said.
