Debra Leigh Stansell, age 40, of McKinney, Texas passed away January 31, 2012.
She was born February 27, 1971 in Dallas, Texas to Edgar Eugene Nicholson and Gladys Haroldine (Adair) Nicholson.On February 2, 1999 Debra married Derek Stansell in Plano, Texas.
Debra worked as a police officer for the Frisco Police Department.
She is survived by her husband, Derek Stansell of McKinney, Texas; children, Eryca Noelle Dox, Emily Morgan Dox, Troy Scott Stansell and Robert Ty Stansell; mother, Dina Nicholson of Frisco, Texas; sister, Carrie Lynn Cantrell of Frisco, Texas; mother-in-law, Shirley Stansell of Prosper, Texas; aunt, Lura Hinds and husband, Tom of Van Alstyne, Texas and a host of other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Edgar Nicholson.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 4, 2012 at Stonebriar Community Church, 4801 Legendary Drive, Frisco, Texas 75034, with Rev. Jason Norton and Rev. Ron Bledsoe officiating. Interment will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Friday evening beginning at 6 p.m., at Stonebriar Community Church.
