Dick Morris to headline Denton GOP's Lincoln-Reagan event

Nationally known author, conservative commentator and the country's pre-eminent political strategist, Dick Morris, will be the featured speaker at the Denton County Republican Party's annual Lincoln-Reagan dinner at 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25 at the DFW Hyatt Regency Hotel.
Morris is well known for hard-hitting, nonpartisan, objective commentary about the national political scene. He pens regular columns for the New York Post, Newsmax, the Hill Magazine and dozens of publications. Additionally, along with his wife Eileen McGann, he is the author of numerous New York Times best-selling books.
"Because of the high caliber of our speakers and the overall quality of the event, the Denton County Lincoln Day Dinner has become one of the best attended Republican Party fundraisers in the entire state," said Dianne Edmondson, Denton County Republican Party chairman. "Our Lincoln-Reagan Day Dinner has become the political event of each year in North Texas, and Dick received rave reviews during his last visit so we are very excited to welcome him back to Denton County. Dick is expected to analyze the GOP presidential nomination race and make his prediction as to its ultimate winner. This should be of particular interest to Texans because it is very likely that with the race stretching out as it has, the April Primary in Texas could well be the election that actually determines the nominee."
The gala banquet will be emceed by The Wells Reports commentator and K-SKY 660 Radio talk show host, Jon David Wells. The evening begins with the private Lincoln Cabinet reception followed by the VIP reception which will provide the opportunity for guests to visit with Morris as well as elected officials from across the state.
Individual dinner tickets are $85; VIP reception tickets are $150 and sponsored tables range from $1000 to $15,000. Ticket and table sponsorship information may be obtained from the Denton County Republican Headquarters at 940-321-2671 or online at the party's website www.dentongop.org.
