Main Street Director stays on the job

After meetings with Mayor Jim Lewis, Councilman Wayne Nabors and City Manager Mike Foreman, Celina Main Street Executive Director Carolyn Harvey decided to remain on board as the Main Street director.
At a council meeting on March 12 Harvey unexpectedly resigned from her job as Main Street director, although she did not use the word resignation.
She continued coming to work the rest of the week. Her dissatisfaction seemed to stem from continuing differences between her and City Manager Mike Foreman.
“As far as I've been told,” Nabors said, “they both indicated to me they saw no reason why the couldn't work it out.”
“I got the impression that they were going to make some changes and get on down the road,” Nabors added. “It was just a bunch of misunderstandings and hurt feelings.”
