Volleyball: Lady Mustangs tied for first

While Creekview's volleyball team continues to pile up victories, the Lady Mustangs are no longer in sole possession of first place in District 9-4A after the squad dropped its first district match of the season Friday against Frisco Centennial (23-25, 25-13, 25-16, 25-14). With the win, the Lady Titans (6-1) move into a tie for first with Creekview as the second half of district play began Tuesday (results not available as of press time).
Creekview previously earned a win Sept. 27 over Frisco Wakeland (26-24, 25-10, 18-25, 25-10) and continues at 6:45 p.m. Friday at R.L. Turner.
