Letter to the Editor: Duke right for LISD
It has been a privilege for me to serve the LISD community for nine years as a school board member.
One of the great things about serving is getting to know your fellow board members. I served for six years with Kathy Duke, and I am proud to endorse her for Place 1 in the upcoming election. Kathy is an articulate voice for the community, she has sound judgment when it comes to making decisions and she exhibits the conservative leadership we need during these difficult budget times. Kathy also has a sincere heart to do the best for all of our students and will be a great help in carry forward the transforming vision that is underway in LISD. I look forward to more excellence from LISD with Kathy back on the school board.
