Boys basketball: Marcus' Forte wins National 3-Point Championship (web exclusive)

During the past four years, Marcus senior guard Phil Forte cemented himself as one of the best 3-point shooters in the state.
Friday in New Orleans the UIL Class 5A State Tournament MVP proved it and then some by winning the second annual American Family Insurance High School & 3-Point Championships at the Alario Center in New Orleans. The event, which took place Friday night, featured eight competitors from across the country and will be broadcast on tape-delay at 3:30 p.m. Sunday on CBS.
