| Kristopher "Kritter" Jahue Akins |
Kristopher Jahue Akins, "Kritter" to all, passed peacefully May 19th, 2012, in Mesquite, at the tender age of 6. He was a true angel and an inspiration to everyone he met.
He was born in Tampa, FL on December 13th, 2005.Born with Trisomy 13, an abnormal chromosome defect, Kritter was given few days to live. Yet, through the determination of his parents, he lived a full life with love and laughter. There were tears and sickness, hospital stays and surgeries, but always love and laughter. A lover of sunshine and the breeze, Kritter touched the lives and hearts of anyone who met him or heard of him. He will be missed by so many.
He is preceded in death by sister Madison Akins, aunt Tanna Crain, Uncle Christopher and great-grandparents Jahue Dean, Raymond Rhode and Audrey Steele.
Funeral services will be held Saturday May 26th, 2012 at First United Methodist Church of Mesquite at 2 p.m. A viewing is being held at the church at 1 p.m. Flowers may be sent to the church at 300 N. Galloway Ave. Mesquite, Texas 75149.
