Kennedy Boone Slavin, age 93, of McKinney, Texas passed away May 31, 2012.
He was born October 3, 1918 in Meridian, Texas to Sam Slavin and Modell (Miears) Slavin.

On May 8, 1942 he married Virginia Clorinda Smith in Dalacidus, Texas.

Kennedy worked for The McKinney Courier Gazette for many years.

He was a member of Legacy Drive Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, June 9, 2012 in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park, Allen, Texas.
