Allen hospital delivers first baby of 2013

Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Allen welcomed its first baby of the new year last Wednesday. Lynlie Kayte Brokaw was the first of approximately 600 births that will take place at the hospital this year.
“With the planned c-section, we’ve known our daughter would be born on Jan. 2 for about two months,” said her mother, Jamie. “It was really nice because it allowed us to plan our holidays and get ready for Lynlie’s arrival. Plus, her birthday will always be easy to remember: 1/2/13.”
