SCHUMPERT

Charley Edward Schumpert, 66 of Denison, Texas, went to be with our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, December 27, 2012, at his home surrounded by his loved ones.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 5, 2013, at Scoggins Funeral Home Chapel in Van Alstyne, Texas. Mike Hermanson will officiate.
He was born October 24, 1946, in Sherman, Texas, to William Edward and Eunice Marshall Schumpert. He married his loving wife Anne on April 19, 1996.
Charley served in the United States Air Force for 22 years and 10 months. He was a retired aircraft mechanic for Cherry Air in Addison, Texas.
Charley is survived by his wife, Anne Schumpert; son and his wife Chad and Monica Schumpert; daughter, Rhonda Kieth; stepson, Eric Ramos; stepdaughter, Stephanie Ramos; brother and his wife, Leo and Jean Schumpert; as well as nieces, nephews, grandchildren and a great-grandson.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Billy Joe; and grandson, Nathan Blankenship.
Charley was an amazing man, loving husband, brother, father, grandfather, uncle and friend. He loved to be host, no matter if he was in his home or yours. He always made sure that you were OK and didn't need a thing. Charley had a heart of gold and will be missed but never forgotten!
