Billy Joe Deaver
Billy Joe Deaver, age 74 and a resident of Flower Mound, Texas.
Born on March 16, 1938, in Nabisco County, Oklahoma, to Joe and Dorothy Deaver, he passed away on January 12, 2013, at his home in Flower Mound.
Billy served in the U.S. Marine Corps and always lived by the motto of Semper Fi and was always considered dependable and patriotic.
Billy work for GTE/Verizon, starting off as an installer in 1960 and retiring in 1993 as the service facilities manager.
Billy was a member of First Baptist Lewisville and loved to dance, golf, bowl and travel.
Billy is survived by his high school sweetheart, Joyce Deaver, and they were married on October 15, 1956. He is also survived by two daughters, Pamela and Bobby Garrison and Veronica Deaver; two sons, James and Lisa Deaver and Randy and Kathy Deaver; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 15, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Lewisville, with burial following with military honors at Old Hall Cemetery in Lewisville.
