T. Wayne Claycomb, 86, of Plano, Texas, passed away January 27, 2013.
He was born January 2, 1927 in Melissa, Texas, to Tom Claycomb and Trannie (Hackney) Claycomb.
On December 19, 1948, he married Louise Mann in McKinney, Texas. Wayne proudly served in the United States Air Force and was a veteran of WWII.
He is survived by his daughters, Lynn Lyon and husband, Mark of Allen, Texas, Celia Johnson of Plano, Texas; grandson, Jared Lyon of Allen, Texas; granddaughters, Rachel Lyon of Allen, Texas, Rebekah McHugh and husband, Stephen of Bothell, Washington; grandson, Billy Johnson and wife, Michelle of Kansas City, Missouri; great-granddaughter, Lily Johnson of Kansas City, Missouri; great-grandson, Jack McHugh of Bothell, Washington; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other loving family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Trannie Claycomb; wife, Louise Claycomb; and brothers, Tom Claycomb Jr. and Ted Claycomb.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 2, 2013, at First Baptist Church of Plano. Interment with military honors will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park, Allen, Texas.
The family will receive friends during a visitation on Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, Allen, Texas.
