Tucker Hill hosts electronics recycling event this Saturday

This Saturday, Feb. 23, Tucker Hill will host an electronics recycling and paperwork shredding event from 9 a.m. until noon. Residents and the general public are invited to bring in paperwork for shredding and/or old computers, monitors, televisions, printers, cell phones, cables, wires, etc. to be recycled by e-Recycler.
E-Recycler is a local recycling company that offers on-site, certified physical destruction of hard drives, floppy disks, CDs, and tapes. Shredders will ensure your information is safe and completely unrecoverable. Small lots of drives can be destroyed while you wait, in most cases.
There is a small charge of 15 cents per pound on all recycled products and a disposal fee of $5 per monitor and/or $10 per television.

Tucker Hill is a 300-acre traditional neighborhood development in McKinney with a focus on architecture, horticulture and a “front porch” lifestyle. Amenities currently include a community pool with future plans for a resident’s club and quaint village marketplace. Located just north of Hwy. 380 between Ridge and Custer Roads, the community will eventually be home to 650 housing units.
