Stonebriar Centre welcomes the Easter Bunny with Egg Hunt on the Ice Saturday, March 9

Hop and hoorah! The Easter Bunny is hopping back to his home at Stonebriar Centre on Saturday, March 9. To celebrate his arrival, the Easter Bunny and his new best friend the Zambunny [the specially decorated Zamboni] are hosting an Easter Egg Hunt at the Ice at Stonebriar Centre at 11 a.m. This hopping-good duo will hide colorful eggs all around the Ice Rink and kids will be able to hunt for the surprise-filled treats.
Children will hunt in several different categories, by age. Winners in each of the different groups will receive prizes, including skating passes, tickets for the Carousel and coupons for Easter photos from the center’s studios.
“Last year’s Easter Egg Hunt was a first and it was very fun to see the little guests scrambling for eggs on the Ice. All the kids, and bunny, had a eggsceptionally wonderful time. We gave out lots of prizes and after the party, children went to ride the Carousel and to visit with the bunny in his garden,” says Stacy Schuch, marketing manager at Stonebriar Centre.
There is no charge to attend the Egg Hunt and reservations are not needed.
After the hunt, the Easter Bunny will settle into his bright, blooming garden for visits on the lower level near the children’s play area. The bunny will be in his garden Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m. The Easter Bunny’s schedule, including times for occasional weekday breaks, is posted at www.shopstonebriar.com <http://www.shopstonebriar.com> .
Pet Nights with the Easter Bunny. On Mondays, March 18 and 25, the Easter Bunny invites pet owners to bring their cats and dogs to visit and have a photo taken. Times are from 6 to 9 p.m. Cats and dogs on a leash or in an appropriate carrier only, please. Animals, other than those servicing the disabled, are not allowed in the shopping centers except on Pet Nights. Pet owners are asked to use the entrance the lower level near Sears.
The Easter Bunny will be at Stonebriar Centre until Saturday, March 30. Stonebriar Centre will be closed on Easter Sunday, March 31. Some stores, restaurants and entertainment venues at the shopping centers may keep different hours. Please call for exact opening and closing times.
