He was an All Service Boxing Champion while serving as a proud Marine and was affectionately known by his coworkers as "Killer" Smith. He faithfully served as an employee of Dallas Power & Light/TXU for 35 years.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 62 years, Elizabeth "Beth"; daughter, Lunell Webber; sons, Bob Smith and wife, Gina and Clay Smith and wife, Sheryl; nine grandchildren, Matthew, Joy and Samantha Webber, Kerrie Howe, Chris, Caleb, Mikey and Dalton Smith; and nine great-grandchildren.
