Mrs. Linda L. Smith of Leonard passed away on Aug. 9, 2008, in Sherman at the age of 64.

Claudia Greenway Hart died on Aug. 9, 2008. Claudia was born in Mountain View, Ark. Her parents were John and Florence Greenway. After moving with her family to Farmersville, she met and married L.C. Hart, who preceded her in death. Claudia is also preceded in death by her parents, one sister and three brothers.

Dorthey Allen Cook died on Friday, Aug. 8, 2008 at a local hospital at the age of 78. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight at the Harper-Talasek Funeral Home, 500 West Barton Ave., Temple, Texas 76501. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2008 at Bellwood Memorial Park in Temple.

Services are pending with the Daniel Funeral Home for Jerry Murphy of McKinney who died on Monday, Aug. 11, 2008 at the age of 69 at the Medical Center of McKinney.

Mrs. Elizabeth Irene Sperry, age 78, passed away Aug. 9, 2008, at her home in Westminster, Texas after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born March 4, 1930, in Duncan, Oklahoma to Arvine Willis and Alma Marie (Moore) Shepard. On Feb. 2, 1952, she married Bob G. Sperry in Henrietta, Texas. Mrs. Sperry was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She brought much joy to the lives of all of her family and friends and will be greatly missed. She enjoyed spending time with her family and cooking.

William Michael "Billy" Bachmann of McKinney, Texas, born November 8, 1964, passed away August 11, 2008.

Robert A. Haynes, of Anna went to be with the Lord on Aug. 3, 2008 . He was born on Nov. 14, 1962 in McKinney to Robert William “Bud” and Carolyn (Farquhar) Haynes. Robert was dearly loved and will be missed by all.

Larry Bond, age 62, of Allen, Texas, passed away August 12, 2008 in Dallas, Texas. He was born May 16, 1946, in Hillsboro, Texas, the son of A. Sidney and Johnnie (Yarbrough) Bond.

Memorial services for Mark Whitehead Presley of McKinney will be held on Saturday, Aug. 2, at 4 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of McKinney at 1615 Louisiana St.

Curtis Andrew Geesaman, 15, of Morrow, Ohio died on Wednesday, July 16, 2008 at Dayton Children’s Hospital following a tragic accident. Born on May 10, 1993 in Baltimore, MD to Troy and Kimberly (Ranney) Geesaman, Curtis was a member of the McKinney Area Christian Home Schoolers, a member of Heritage Baptist Church in Lebanon, and Rhea’s Mill Baptist Church in McKinney. Curtis was best known for his love of God and the joy and laughter he brought to everyone around him.

Graveside services for Alexa Kelly Fullick, infant daughter of Christina Clark and Tommy Fullick will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 16, 2008 at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen.

Rosie Nell Fowler Hamilton passed away on July 23, 2008, in Burleson, Texas.

Debra Jo Fisk, 53, of Princeton, Texas, went to be with the Lord on July 25, 2008, in Irving, Texas.

Robert “Bob” Clark Richardson, 72, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, July 19 after a brief battle with cancer. Surrounded by his family, Bob, formerly of Long Island, N.Y., passed away at Wilson N. Jones Medical Center.

Ernest Appling, 86, of Greenville, passed away in the early morning hours Tuesday, July 22, 2008 at the Red River Regional Hospital in Bonham, with his loving wife by his side.

Ruby Loosier Hines, 85, of McKinney, Texas, passed away on July 22, 2008, in Plano, Texas.

Barbara Arnold Bohannan died on July 14, 2008, in McKinney, Texas at 82 years of age. Prior to moving to McKinney, she lived in San Antonio, Texas where she raised her family.
